Mechanical chuck + Pneumatic piston
The Renova Duplex mandrel presents a revolutionary design that combines a mechanical expanding chuck, equipped with new high-gripping jaws, and a pneumatic telescopic piston that is concentric to the mandrel. This allows to remove blocked cores and remove rolls on every roll stand safely, since the thrust force of the piston is always coaxial to the roll itself.
The overall dimensions of the Duplex mandrel respects the existing design dimensions and does not interfere with the roll width. Duplex is available for single mandrel of 3” to 6” (75mm to 150mm).
