The carbon fibre glass chamber developed by BFT uses only the best materials available so that this system offers many advantages compared to traditional chamber systems.
In comparison to a chamber system made of aluminum the chamber system is not only much lighter but also extremely rigid even with highest viscosities. This leads to a higher life of the doctor blades.
Another big advantage is that the carbon fibre chamber will not corrode even if water based inks with the most different pH-values or solvents or glues are used.
Thanks to its special surface treatment the carbon fibre chamber saves significant quantities of washing water. The anti-adhesion treatment results in substantially less residue of ink – the consecution of this is a heavy ink saving.
The chamber system employs the proven “Easy-Quick-System”, a system which allows an extremely easy and rapid dismantling of the chamber – there is no need for additional tools to change the doctor blades.
